The World Chess Federation (FIDE) needs a new direction and this can only happen under new leadership.
The KARPOV2010 campaign aims to restore the integrity of the International Chess Federation by electing Anatoly Karpov for FIDE President!
This campaign has global support at every level and promises to end the international chess crisis with a return to FIDE’s roots of bringing chess to the players.
Mr. Karpov is campaigning under a program of unity and positive change. His superior talents as a chess champion and unique experience as UNICEF Ambassador make him the ideal leader to return the sport to prominence on the global stage.
Mr. Karpov’s status and dedication will allow him to unify the chess world again and to align FIDE with those whose priority it is to expand the reach of chess in classrooms throughout the world.
He has already attracted worldwide grass-roots support as well as a prominent leadership team and an advisory panel of unmatched international experience and character.
